Power equipment consists offour 50-hp motors, about equally divided be-tween Steel, Westinghouse and General Elec-tric, which are mounted on Peckham 14-Xhigh-speed trucks. The freight cars are fitted with M. C. B.couplers, Westinghouse air brakes operated bya compressor located on the locomotive, andthey have standard steam flanges and tread.These cars were built by the American Car& Foundry Company. The freight businessof the road has increased to such an extent thatorders have been placed which will practicallydouble the present equipment.
