It is an easy matter for gills with deftfingers to construct the numerous pretty bowsthat give the latest touch and style, to hats. A very attractive bow is called the PrincessTain, and is to be worn in the front hat.Take one yard of stiff watered ribbon threeinches wide, fold it over, making it one-halfinch wide, and lay it in eight loops on thebrrm of the hat up against the crown. Noknot is put in the centre, but the bow is caughtdown firmly to the hat with a two inch buckle. The eight loops are then pulled up to stand asstiffly as the ribbon will warrant. Among the very latest bows is the Fish-tail. Take ten pieces of stiff ribbon, eachone inch in width and five inches long.. Cuteach V shape at one end. Hold them in abunch and tightly wrap the square ends witha naiTow piece of corresponding ribbon, oneend cut to a V, which ties at the side ancicompletes the bow. This tight wrapping makesthe stiff ends stand apart from eachother. The Fishtail is worn as acockade. To make a Virot bow
