Fort Polk, Louisiana — Task Force Lobos Soldiers utilize the Extended Range Fuel System II (ERFS) and the Forward Area Refueling Equipment (FARE) to immediately resupply UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters with fuel at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana, on Dec. 4. Each fuel cell is capable of carrying 800 gallons of fuel. The 2nd Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment’s mission at JRTC is to support the 2nd Security Forces Assistance Brigade.
