Summary

Fort Polk, Louisiana — Task Force Lobos Soldiers connect the nozzle of the Forward Area Refueling Equipment (FARE) to UH-60 Black Hawks for immediate refueling at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana, on Dec. 4. The Black Hawks were refueled through fuel cells, called the Extended Range Fuel System II (ERFS), aboard two CH-47 Chinooks. Each fuel cell is capable of carrying 800 gallons of fuel.
