Wooward, Assistant WPA Administrator in charge of the Government Creative Work Program. Without mentioning a resolution under consideration to establish a permanent Federal Arts Department, Miss Woodward gave it approval and told of the work relief theater, arts, music, writers and historical survey projects, 3/7/38
