It hasbeen a great drawing card in getting themen out to the Safety meet-ngs and didsplendid work for the Baltimore Vet-erans when it accompanied them ontheir recent visit as the guests of theMartinsburg Veterans at BerkeleySprings. The management is tremendously in-terested in the welfare movement, andMount Clare has been one of the prin-cipal centers of that work. The band isone of the social features of this move-ment, and the interest and enthusiasmdisplayed by the members and otheremployes at Mount Clare should surelybe a source of much satisfaction to thosewho have lent their support and en-couragement, as it has undoubtedly beenthe means of fostering the spirit of goodfellowship among the employes andofficials, and among the employes them-selves. Good fellowship, of course, en-genders cooperation, and the logicalresult of better cooperation is greaterefficiency in carrying on the Companyswork. I think all Magazine readers will joinin wishing all success to the Mount ClareBand.
