Townsend, the oldest passenger en-gineer (in point of service) on the SpringfieldDivision, is taking a long deferred vacation,and with Mrs. Townsend is making an ex-tended trip through the west. Elmer will visita brother in Portland, Oregon, and the PanamaExposition before his return.
