This train station, shown here on July 4, 2005, is one of eight the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gulf Region South District is renovating in the Dhi Qar province of Iraq. The rail system, once renovated, will serve as a reliable method of transportation in Iraq. The Corps manages the contract and provides quality assurance for the project. (U.S. Army photo by B.J.
