Summary

The locomotive, which was previously known as Wabash 129, was purchased from Wabash in 1906 for the Yosemite Valley Railroad with an original cost of $6,248.40. It was stationed at El Portal for "Emergency Service" in 1926 but stood derelict there for several years. Eventually, it was retired in 1932 and scrapped at Merced in 1946. The locomotive had a cylinder stroke of 17" x 24", drivers of 63", and a tractive effort of 14,000 lbs.
