produced by stenciling, but of course in a more elaborate and more attractive degree. -• <**■ Either of two borders may be furnished with this pattern, both of which carry the same design and colors as the side wall and also carry a quantity of expensive varnished gilt. The 18-inch border is so designed that the upper or lower portion or both mav be cut off, making a 15 or 12-inch border should a narrower border be desired. The portions cut off may be used quite effectively as a base binder. The ceiling pattern is printed hi lustrous bronzes and shows a tiny semi-conven-tional figure on a cream ground* THIS IS THE BACKof the Dunsmuir sam-ple.
