Twin Zephyrs 1947

Page from a 1947 Burlington brochure about the Twin Zephyrs. The page shows power unit 9904 Pegasus at left and contains details about the train's diesel locomotive and its passenger cars. This is the second pair of train sets for the line as the original ones were only 3 units and quickly proved too small to handle the traffic on the route. These train sets would be moved and renamed the Nebraska Zephyr during 1947, as these train sets would be replaced by a third pair.
