The work of construction goes on apace; hutment wards and tents move rapidly into place under the hands of American soldier-workmen. More than three miles of light railway have been laid around the 186 card estate. The hutments are being built of concrete and wood. The concrete blocks are made from sand and gravel found on the estate; the wood is cut from trees on the estate at a portable sawmill set up by the Red Cross
