74 December 25, PEERLESS SPECIAL PRIDE. One of the concerns which points withspecial pride to the flush joints of its bicyclesis the Peerless Manufacturing Company, ofCleveland, Ohio. The cause for the morethan usual pride is due to the fact thatflush joints were a feature of the Peerlessesof two years ago. Their general adoptionthis season gives the firm a chance to scorea point. And they score it. The head andhandle bar and the seat-post adjustment arealso matters of special pride, while cranksand axles, crank boxes and bearings, the fin-ish and the equipment are also matters ofcomment in the Peerless advance cataloguereceived this week. The Peerless will be again listed at $100.These specifications will convey an idea ofits calibre: Frame (mens), 22, 24 or 26 inches; 24 inches reg-ular. Peerless patent flush joints. Tubing, 1%inches head; 1% inches lower front and seatmast, 1% inches top, % round upper and % Dlower rear forks. Highest grade Shelby. Forkcrown, Peerless tubular; hand
