ere is the same in make, size, etc., as that inthe power house sub-station. The car house, 47 ft. x 110 ft., and repairshop, 20 ft. x 50 ft., is also located at FortBranch, adjacent to the power house and park.It is of brick, with tar and gravel roof, and isto be equipped with 71/2-hp motor, emerywheel, shaper, medium sized lathe, drill press,wheel press, grindstone, forge and necessarysmall tools for a modern repair shop. There is a small office building for thesuperintendent adjacent to the car house.ROLLING STOCK The rolling stock consists of five interurbanpassenger cars, one double-truck work car and six single-truckflat cars. One double-truck freight and express car has been or-dered. The passenger cars are single end, semi-convertible,combination baggage and passenger, with vestibule. They are42 ft. 3 ins. over all, and were built by the St. Louis Car Com-pany. The side and end sills are constructed of two 8-in. chan-nels, arranged to allow the window sash to drop between same.

B.type of trucks, and are each equipped with four WestinghouseNo. 56 motors, and Westinghouse independent air brakes. Theyare heated by Peter Smith hot-water heaters, the stove beingplaced in the motormans vestibule, and have Ohmer registers,Knutson retrievers and arc headlights. The seats are of theSt. Louis Walkover type. The cars have a saloon just back April 9, 1904.)
