longand eight feet wide, are vestibuled at bothends and are mounted on double trucks hav-ing wheels thirty-three inches in diameter.They are similar in appearance to steam rail-road cars and have straight sides. The seatsare arranged at right angles to the length ofthe car, leaving a center aisle eighteen incheswide. The seats are fitted with springs andspring backs and are upholstered in cane.The trail cars used in summer are of thedijuble truck eight bench type, each having aseating capacity of fifty persons. The carsand trucks were furnished by the Jackson &Sharp Company. The motors are of theWalker fifty type ; two are used on each car,making an aggregate capacity on each of 100 h. p. Theyare giving good satisfaction. Light freight and express will form an importantdepartment of this lines transportation business, and anew combination car has recently been ordered. It isthirty-eight feet in length and divided into two compart-ments for passengers and baggage respectively. The
