Dr. Charles F. Allans Examinations scored an immediate success. Thefirst edition was sold in a few months. In this plan of keeping records of exam-inations, Dr. Allan states that his object is not to give the patient a reminder ofthe state of his or her teeth at the time they were examined, but to keep the . record for his own use. To this end he has the diagram shown above printedon leaves (one side only) 5^x7^ inches. At the bottom of each leaf areblanks for the name of patient anddate of examination, the space inter-vening being used for such memorandaas may be required. The leaves arebound in oblong books containing 100each, on the front cover of which is the imprint Examinations.
