Sewing Sampler (USA), early 19th century (CH 18417895)
Summary
A long piece of handwoven cotton stitched with buttons, button loops, buttonholes, hemming, tabs, hooks and eyes, and lace fillings. KM12 is embroidered in red cross stitch at one end and KM18 in knot stitch at the other, possibly dating the piece to 1812.
