description

Summary

Despite plenty of interest from steam enthusiasts since it was put up for sale last year, the Kingston Flyer still hasn't attracted a bid to get it back on the tracks...But a train-mad expat hopes to change that, and he's got an ambitious plan to restore the flyer to its former glory...Covered in cobwebs and slowly rusting, the Kingston Flyer sits abandoned waiting for someone to restore her to her former glory. If he has his way, that will be Seattle-based Kiwi David Rowell, who has big plans for the Flyer

Made in two steps (manual, and image recognition), it comprises of more than 35,000 images of all types and sizes - an astonishing number if keep in mind that the total number of steam locomotives ever built was just one order of magnitude larger. All images are in the public domain, so there is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial. Please contact us if you need a dataset like this, we may already have it, or, we can make one for you, often in 24 hours or less.
