Qi Xuan Wang Wen Zhi Guo, Heritage Illustrations for Descent of Mencius

Qi Xuan Wang Wen Zhi Guo (齊宣王問治國), depicted the scene that Mencius (left) answers the questions from King Xuan of Qi (right) on how to rule a state. The illustration was a rubbing of a stone stele called Heritage Illustrations for Descent of Mencius (孟氏宗傳祖圖), which records the life of Mencius. The original stone stele is located at the Temple of Mencius, Shandong, China.
