Purse (England), 17th century (CH 18316857)

Small purse attached to silver frame, lined with green taffeta. Embroidered with knotted stitches, satin stitch and long and short stitch in silk and gilt threads. On one side, a design of five pink and blue flowers tied with a pink ribbon; on the reverse, a cypher and crown.
