Summary
Print shows a French invasion force, under the command of Admiral Charles Hector, comte D'Estaing, capturing an artillery battery abandoned by a small contingent of British soldiers on the island of Grenada in the West Indies; they have lowered the British flag and a French soldier waves the French standard.
Paper has an upside down watermark at the center of the top showing a bird perched on a ball atop a roof with figures to the right and left.
