Poerwokerto: 1-3 RI. heeft zijn Indische tijd er op zitten en keert huiswaarts. Nu het treinverkeer grotendeels hersteld is, maakt ook het leger hier gebruik van en zo kon het dan gebeuren, dat het Bataljon met een lange extra-trein naar Semarang vervoerd werd, om daar scheep te gaan naar Holland.
