Figs. IV, V, VI show the state of de-velopment of the teeth of a child fromthree to three and one-half years of age.1 During the period of active develop-ment of the teeth the child should beguarded against all undue excitement, ex-posure, or indiscretions in feeding, as thedevelopmental changes which are goingon are taxing the nervous energy of thechild to its full capacity.
