Summary
Satire; a group of six men crowded beside a wooden table on which stand two tankards and a bowl of punch, a waiter to left wearing an apron and holding a bottle, raising a glass, with a little dog beside him, another man behind him smoking, a third, the giant Bamfield, gesturing with right hand, leaning in from behind the others who stand in front, the central figure pointing to a companion to right, who smiles, leaning on the table, wearing a cocked hat over a thick white wig, with the neck of a double-bass seen propped against the wall to right.
