Man’s court ensemble of red wool coat and cloth-of-silver vest, Italy, circa 1800. The coat and vest are decorated with silver metallic-thread embroidery in a pattern of stylized leaves, oak leaves and acorns, worked in satin stitch directly on the cloth.
