Major General William J. Walker, Commanding General of the District of Columbia National Guard, hosted the Deputy Associate Director of Presidential Personnel, Brian Scarlett at the DC National Guard headquarters building in Washington, D.C., July 16, 2019. The DCNG is the President’s Guard and while other National Guards across the country are responsible for an entire state, the DCNG embraces its role as capital guardians and conducts capabilities briefing for various government agencies.
