Lost in the Fog (Walker)
Summary
Illustration for the story "Lost in the Fog." Depicts a dead man being fished out of the Thames after a foggy day; he is assumed to have fallen in by not seeing the edge, such accidents being not uncommon. The tall figure at the center of the picture is, in the story, a passing gentleman who says he knows the dead man. Once a Week magazine, volume 2, page 370.
