Letter from Edwin Pitt Atlee, Phila[delphi]a, [Pa.], to William Lloyd Garrison, [Feburary] 7. 1835
Summary
Edwin P. Atlee informs William Lloyd Garrison of his intention to set sail for England shortly, and states that if "our valued tho' vilified brother Geo. Thompson" wishes to transmit any correspondance or papers to their mutual friends in England, he may feel free to make use of the opportunity. Atlee states that the design of his voyage may not be publicized until it is underway, and that it is partially in connection with his profession. Atlee states that letters of recommendation for his voyage would be greatly appreciated.
