John Lauwerys arrived in the School on 1 May 1985 as Bursar-designate. He has a wide experience of university administration at Imperial College since 1974, and previously at Goldsmith’s College. From 1982 as Senior Assistant Secretary he has been primarily concerned with building-related matters.

A graduate of Goldsmith’s College, John Lauwerys subsequently gained a higher degree in Educational Organisation and Administration.
