Gotô Hôjô - Kozuka with Scene from Dôjôji - Walters 51866 - Back

On the left of the kozuka is a man on the beach running from a woman in the water whose lower half has transformed into a dragon. This scene is drawn from the Dôjôji engi emaki, in which a jealous woman turns into a dragon as she chases a monk.
