Fragments, 1750–1800 (CH 18173635)

Rose satin ground with off-white weft patterning. Fragments show alternating vertical large-scale repeat vignettes of a horseman under attack by a leopard, a horseman with a raised scimitar fends off an attack by a lion, and a man standing before a large palm tree stabs a leopard. Men are dressed in a variety of Eastern costume.
