The motors aremainly General Electric 67 or Westinghouse 51, and the freightcapacity of each car is from 12 to 14 tons. The crew consistsof a motormau and a conductor, who handle the freighttogether with the assistance of local agents when it is neces-sary. The use of four motors greatly increases the reliabilityof the service and enables the cars to make a good schedulespeed.
