Summary
Initial word of the main text ~wa-yedabber~ (and [God] spoke) decorated by foliate scrolls and hybrid heads. The initial word of the Targumic text is decorated with the head of a dragon and a man, at the beginning of ~parashat wa-era~ (Ex. 6:2-9:35). Image taken from f. 57 of Pentateuch with Targum Onkelos and Rashi's commentary (ff. 1-272), Five Scrolls (~Hamesh megillot~; ff. 273-311v) and ~Haftarot~(ff. 312-381) with Rashi's commentary. Written in Hebrew, Aramaic.
