-a: oval, slightly concave button with brass shank and central ornament; -b: circular flat button of imitation bloodstone with steel shank and central ornament; -c,d: oval braass buttons ornamented with lozenges of bloodstone with brass back and shank; -e,f: circular, flat pieces of bloodstone mounted in silver collets with silver backs and shanks.
