The Court Train is of SilverBrocaded Satin, and has an extension on the floor of five yards in length. Itslightly tapers from the shoulders, folded in to the width of the shoulders,then gradually extending and flaring down to almost the width of the Brocadeat the end. It is slightly rounded at the end starting about four inches upon sides. It is lined throughout in White Crepe de Chine. The Court Train is harnessed on by silk ribbon. Take and run it overthe shoulders and across in front (from opposite sides), connecting on piecearound waist. Come straight down from shoulders to waist line in back,securely tack. Besides tacking the train to this, hook on the shoulders ofBodice. The harness worn underneath tied about waist will gracefully carrythe weight of the Court Train.
