The cafe has be-come a favorite luncheon and dinner ren-dezvous for Pasadena s smart set. and alsofor many of its art lovers. Likewise the cafe is no ordinary hostelry.Its walls have been decorated with frescoesby a half-dozen different artists and archi-tects, the names of some of whom may befound in Who s Who and their worklends corresponding charm to the roomswhich it decorates. It is interesting to know,also, that in every case such work was done hand-made furniture is constructed, and re-cently Edgar Cheesewrights decorativeshop has also taken up its quarters there.Both of these shops are approachedthrough a spacious court shaded with pep-per trees which gives an impression ofcharm even before entering.
