Airborne Artillerymen, assigned to 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division Artillery, conduct their first Battalion Artillery Readiness test in more than a decade here on Fort Bragg, N.C. 20 April, 2016. Over five days the Paratroopers skills and resolve were put to the test conducting multiple complex fire missions during the day and night like the emergency fire mission, 3-Gun-Raid, out of traverse mission and a 3-hour schedule of fires. A very large dataset of various big guns, howitzers, mortars, columbiads, all types of canon-like things - everything besides machine guns and rockets. This collection as well as all massive collections on Picryl.com required two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize cannon artillery, and after that, ran all 25M+ images in our database through our image recognition network. All media in the collection is in the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
