This illustration entitled, "A Nebraska "Bill" Poster", by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Post on April 12, 1903, depicts William Jennings Bryan promoting Missouri Senator William Joel Stone, whose political ideas matched that of Bryan, as the Democratic hope to regain the presidency in 1904. Here, Bryan merely glues Stone's face over an old Bryan for President poster.
