A "before" photo featuring the field that will become a fallen Soldier memorial park at the SFC Isaac Shawn Lawson Memorial Armory, home of the 49th Military Police Brigade, in Fairfield, Calif., May 3, 2012. Lawson, a Desert Storm veteran and military police investigator, was killed by an improvised explosive device while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad on June 5, 2006.
