190719-N-SS350-1052 ARABIAN GULF (July 19, 2019) Seaman Apprentice William Crismon, from Corpus Christi, Texas, scans the horizon during his watch aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96). Bainbridge is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operation in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
