181102-N-IB739-1002 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov. 2, 2018) Builder 2nd Class Eric Kraninger, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Yokosuka, grinds down fence pole stubs during an officer-in-charge discretionary project to remove a damaged fence and exposed pole stubs around the perimeter of a Morale Welfare & Recreation field that present a safety hazard to personnel onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
