161103-N-TH560-195 EAST CHINA SEA (Nov. 3, 2016) Landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 8, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, transits waters near Sasebo, Japan after launching from amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard and amphibious ships under Amphibious Squadron 11 are in the final phase of a multi-month patrol in the Indo-Asia Pacific region after disembarking Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
