Six fragments of a red pattern with birds, flowers, and baskets of flowers contained within two S-diagonal unjoined ogee bands. Height of repeat: 30cm (11 ¾”); no repeat within width of fabric. Selvage present on A & B.
Design in pale brown on white background. Four familiar scenes of Paris: statue of Henri IV on the Pont Neuf, the Fountain of the Innocents, the Parthenon, the east front of the Louvre all in elaborate frames.
