Drawing, Design for Painted Decoration of a Wall, with Alternative Suggestions, 1835–50 (CH 18558527)
Summary
A dado is shown at the bottom, an entablature on top. White flower boughs form lozenges with curved outlines in which dark leaf boughs form other lozenges. In these are petals for which alternative suggestions were made. The leaves are shaped like palm tops, above; they have tri-dented tops below. A garland made of sunflowers frames the top.
