ne instance, in which we disco-vered, with regret, that our good friend Koahwas a party principally concerned. Thechiefs who made us presents of hogs, werealways generously rewarded; in consequenceof which, we were supplied with more thanwe could consume. On these occasions,Koah, who attended us coustatitly, petition-ed usually for those that we did not ai)so-lutely want, and they were given him ofcourse.
