The inside finish of the cars is mahogany throughout, curtains, with Curtain Supply Companys fixtures, areused throughout the car. The head linings are of three-ply whitewood or birchfinished in a light cream color with stencilled ornamentsin gold leaf. The effect is to give a very light appearanceto the car, especially at night. The fact that the voltageis very constant on the line also improves the lightingeffect. For lighting the cars twenty-five 16-cp lamps areused. In addition, there are five lamps in each end ofeach car for head-lights, markers and cab lights. All five
